Record-breaking year of Moto-Profil | Summary of 2017

2017 was one of the best periods for Moto-Profil and the company’s business partners. The high revenue growth, activity of the partners in local markets and abroad, the need to expand the warehouse space, awards and distinctions – is just a taster of what Moto-Profil has achieved over the last 12 months.

Expansion of the warehouse space and an increase in sales

The dynamic development of the company resulted in the expansion of Moto-Profil headquarters by almost 30% compared to 2016. At present, the company warehouse is 45 thousand m2, and the value of car parts and accessories which are stored in it exceeds EUR 60 million. The company also recorded a 25-percent increase in the value of sales compared to 2016.

Awards and distinctions

The business activities of Moto-Profil in 2017 were awarded both in Poland and abroad. The editorial staff of Forbes monthly magazine awarded the company with the seventh “Forbes Diamond” in its history and ranked it 66th among the “100 Poland’s Largest Private Companies”. The financial results achieved by Moto-Profil meant that the company rose significantly in the list of the largest Polish companies drawn up by Rzeczpospolita newspaper. The company also appeared once again in the league table of Wprost weekly news magazine – “200 Largest Polish Companies” – placed several positions higher than in 2016. The company activities have also been appreciated by Temot International, which awarded Moto-Profil the title of best shareholder in the category “passenger cars”.

Pioneering solution in the catalogue

As the first company in Poland, Moto-Profil catalogued the tools for the camshaft which are available from different manufacturers for a specific vehicle model, thus enriching the ProfiAuto Automotive Parts catalogue with the possibility to choose camshaft locking tools  specially designed for a selected vehicle. This makes it easy for the customer to match tools, exactly the same as in the case of automotive parts. In addition, the catalogue also features a comprehensive function called “Valuation”, which allows the costs of parts and work time to be estimated.

Development of ProfiAuto brand

In 2017, the Moto-Profil representatives also took care of the dynamic development of the ProfiAuto brand. At present, the network consists of more than 220 automotive stores and warehouses and almost 1200 car service units in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. The projects completed in the last 12 months include the record-breaking ProfiAuto Show fair, which attracted over 40 000 visitors, the second series of the “Project Workshop” – one of the most watched programs of the TVN Turbo station and the flagship PitStop action which was organised in 100 cities in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Cooperation with the best | New ambassadors

During the ProfiAuto Show 2017, Moto-Profil signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Neptis – the owner of the Yanosik application, which is very popular among drivers. Also during the fair, it was announced that the ProfiAuto Ambassador would be Adam Klimek, known as the best car mechanic in Poland. The group of network representatives was also joined by Maciej Wisławski, a cult figure in the Polish motorsport.

2018 is a jubilee year for Moto-Profil – the company celebrates its 25th anniversary. It will be a unique period in many aspects; a quarter of a century of experience in the automotive industry, combined with tradition developed during that time, will bring innovative projects that will have a positive impact not only on the further growth of the company, but above all on the development of Moto-Profil business partners.
